Job DescriptionService Manager – Kaikohe District CourtPermanent, Full timeTe Haeata/The OpportunityWe are looking for someone with significant experience managing a team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional development and efficient performance whilst maintaining a positive team culture and environment. This role reports to a Manager Justice Services and works collaboratively with the team to strengthen people's trust in the Law of Aotearoa New Zealand.Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification.   • Operational management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and customer centric environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in coaching, motivating, and leading staff to achieve targets, understand their contribution to the bigger picture and develop a high performing culture.
  • Good track record in change management and implementing new ways of working and business processes.
  • You will possess well-developed interpersonal skills which will enable you to establish strong working relationships and collaborate across a range of agencies and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, tactical, and strategic ability
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will exercise sound judgement and political sensitivity.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and planning skills.
  • Confidence in Te Reo me ōna Tikanga Māori, or a genuine interest to learn.
