Auckland Transport is looking for a talented Geospatial Analyst to help shape the future of transport through cutting-edge GIS solutions.As part of our dynamic Geospatial Analytics team, you'll:
  • Deliver high-quality GIS support and advice across Auckland Transport and external stakeholders.
  • Create stunning cartographic products, interactive maps, dashboards, and printed visuals, that tell compelling stories.
  • Maintain and present geospatial data from diverse sources, including our data warehouse.
  • Support agile delivery teams with innovative mapping solutions.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching GIS trends and sharing knowledge across the team.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • A tertiary qualification in GIS, geography, spatial science, or a related field.
  • Some experience in GIS, with hands-on expertise in ESRI's ArcGIS suite (Desktop & Enterprise).
  • Bonus points for experience with FME and ETL techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A flexible, independent mindset with a knack for balancing priorities.
  • Familiarity with transport planning, urban policy, and local government frameworks is a plus.
