This is a dynamic and varied role where you'll work both independently in the field and within our newly (getting) built modern, well-equipped workshop.A unique aspect of this position includes sometimes helping our qualified airport technician with ground support equipment maintenance for Air New Zealand, involving airside work at Invercargill airport as required.What we can offer:

Key responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of exciting machinery and equipment
Provide timely and high-quality support to customers on-site and in the workshop
Ensure compliance with health & safety and airside procedures when working at airport
Maintain clear documentation and service records
Deliver excellent customer service with a solution-focused attitude

What we're looking for:

A qualified technician with mechanical and automotive electrical experience
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Great communication and organisational skills with the ability to work independently
Full drivers licence
Preferred endorsements F, W, T, R but not essential
A Police check will be asked for airport airside purposes
