Innovated by PGG Wrightson, bidr offers easy-to-use auctions: 100% online and hybrid livestreamed online/on site.Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated and tech savvy Territory Manager - Lower South Island to join their team. The Territory Manager will look for, capture and deliver auctions, and work with clients and farmers, with an emphasis on providing solutions for their needs and building strong relationships. As this position manages regional areas of the Lower South Island substantial travel will be required.As part of the Territory Manager role, the successful person will be required to deliver on site hybrid livestreamed auctions throughout the territory, support bidr users (livestock agents and farmers), attend industry events, some of which will include forums, networking events and agricultural events (such as regional A&P Shows and Field Days).To be successful in this role ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • An in-depth understanding of the rural livestock industry
  • Passion for technology with excellent problem solving skills
  • 1-2 yrs relevant work or industry experience
  • Possess sound people skills and recognise the initiators that lead to confidence by customers and sales through strong personal relationships.
  • Ability to proactively plan, prioritise and maintain performance under pressure.
  • A goal orientated, problem solving and focused approach to the tasks and responsibilities
