We're looking for a reliable and physically fit Civil Labourer to join a reputable and well-established company in the Hawke's Bay region. This is a hands-on role where you'll be supporting machine operators on-site - assisting with tasks such as raking, checking levels, general labouring, compacting and possibly operating a roller.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators on civil construction sites
- Raking, shovelling, and general ground prep work
- Checking levels and helping to ensure accuracy on-site
- Working safely and efficiently within a team
- Operating a roller and compactor if required (training or experience preferred)
- $23.50/hour (higher rates available for experienced candidates)
- Consistent hours with a respected local company

- All PPE provided
- Weekly pay with 8% annual accrued.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Switched on and able to follow instructions
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Previous civil or construction experience is a bonus
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
