The Mental Health and Addiction Services in Northland are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Psychiatry of Older Persons Service (POPS). There is both a permanent, full-time position and a fixed-term, full-time position (fixed-term until April 2024) available. We would also consider applications for part time work.The Psychiatric Service for Older People is a community based mental health team providing services primarily to the population 65 years and older throughout Northland. This role is based in Whangarei but may also include travel to rural clinics.(formerly Northland District Health Board) provides public health services across the Northland region, from north of Wellsford to Cape Reinga serving a growing population of 190,000.
