We’re partnering with Icehouse to find a sharp, hands-on Company Accountant who’s ready to make an impact. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this is a high-visibility role where financial insight helps shape decisions and drive outcomes for thousands of Kiwi SMEs.It’s a great fit for someone proactive, curious, and commercially minded, with a 32-hour work week on offer, making it ideal for someone looking to balance career and life.You’ll be across:

Core reporting, budget planning & forecast cycles
Month-end close, GL, balance sheet & fixed asset reconciliations
GST, PAYE, audit prep & compliance
Payroll, A/P, A/R and bank recs
Profitability and variance analysis to inform business decisions
Exploring automation, system improvements and AI tools to lift efficiency

About You
You’re someone who brings both financial clarity and a spark of commercial energy. You’re naturally analytical but love people too, the kind of person who can connect the numbers to the real-world story.You’ll thrive here if you:

Are CA qualified, ideally with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience
Are solutions-focused, you spot inefficiencies and want to fix them
Are confident with Xero and Excel
Bring a curious, proactive mindset and love continuous improvement
Enjoy contributing across the business and working closely with senior leaders
Want to balance impact with flexibility, this could suit someone returning to work or shifting gears
Love the idea of finance as a service, not a gatekeeper
