TenFour might just be the place for you.We’re on the hunt for an Accounts Assistant with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable, particularly in Xero, to join our growing team. You’ll be someone who enjoys working at pace, takes ownership, and knows how to keep calm when things ramp up.What You’ll Be Doing:Reporting to the Finance & Performance Manager, you’ll be part of a small, dedicated finance team. Your role will be varied and hands-on, with responsibilities that include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Accurate and timely financial data entry
- Preparing payment batches
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Creditor reconciliations
- Payroll processing (PayHero or similar)
- Monitoring and following up on customer balances and queries
- Assisting with budget forecasts and month-end processes
- Supporting intercompany transactions and year-end reporting
- Has 3+ years’ experience in accounts payable/receivable
- Is proficient with Xero or MYOB and Excel.
- Has previously worked in a small business or close-knit team
- Brings a vibrant, team-first attitude and clear communication style
- Is confident managing deadlines and priorities
- Has great attention to detail and enjoys financial accuracy
- Understands the fast pace and flexibility often required in growing organisations
- Is experienced in payroll (PayHero or similar is a bonus)
- Understands intercompany transactions
