
Contracts Manager

- Oversee the full construction lifecycle - from pricing and tendering to on-site delivery and contractor management
- Lead contract negotiations and administration
- Manage on-site performance with a focus on budget, build quality, timelines, and compliance
- Drive Health & Safety leadership and ensure compliance with all NZ legislation and best practices
- Collaborate with Development Managers, consultants, and stakeholders to meet project goals
- Introduce innovation and improve control in construction methods, cost management, and delivery models
- Qualification in construction, property, or a related field
- Proven experience in residential construction for medium density builds
- Strong commercial acumen in contract management, pricing, and tendering
- Hands-on construction experience - ideally as a qualified builder or with a construction/project management background
- In-depth understanding of NZ building standards, contracts, and local council processes
- Demonstrated experience delivering residential projects on live development sites
- Confident interpreting plans and managing consultants and contractors on-site
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge and leadership capability
