Warehouse Store Person – Te ArohaLocated 45 minutes from Hamilton in the town of Te Aroha, our client is looking for a dynamic storeperson with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great company. While the role starts as a temporary position, there is strong potential to become permanent for the right person.About the Role:
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm
  • General warehousing duties including loading/unloading trucks, unpacking courier orders, stock counting, and putting stock away
  • Assist other departments with material checks and requests
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Work in a small close-knit team
What You'll Bring:
  • Current OSH forklift licence - essential
  • Previous experience operating reach truck forklifts
  • Class 2 drivers license – ideal
  • At least 1 years experience in a food manufacturing enviornment, with specific experience around warehousing
  • Sound computer skills (SAP or ERP experience advantageous)
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work to deadlines
  • A proactive approach and strong initiative
Eligibility:
To be considered, candidates must currently reside in New Zealand and have immediate eligibility to work in New Zealand without restrictions.Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Two recent supervisor references
  • Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Clean Ministry of Justice criminal history check
