Our client is a well-known leader in the civil industry across New Zealand with a reputable team right here in the Bay. We are seeking operators to be a part of our smaller project teams. What kind of operations? Diggers, Loaders, Water carts, Rollers the lot! You name it! With so many projects on the horizon, our client is seeking to build some strong teams with all-round civil operators working on level 1 and level 2 roads, council projects such as car parks, retainer walls, berms and more. No day is the same in this game and thre is ongoing opportunities to develop your skills.Main positions available:
- Operators with Class 4, W, T, R endorsements
- Operators with Class 2 W, T, R endorsements
- Labourers with Class 1 Full licenseResponsibilities:
- Working as a team to complete large Civil projects
- Ensuring a high standard of quality is executed for each project
- Communicating with contractors, council representatives and HSE on site
- Ensuring Health and Safety is communicated and of high importance to yourself and others within the work site
- Skill development within operations and communications.The right people for the job
- Will be a key part of the team, assisting with initiative.
- Precision and efficiency in machine operation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willing to communicate as a key to member with contractors, HSE management and council representatives.Whats on offer?
