Our Te Puke team supports a wide range of growers-kiwifruit, avocado, sub-tropicals, and more-in one of New Zealand's most vibrant horticultural regions. With growth on the horizon, we're looking for someone who's ready to get stuck in, build strong relationships, and help our growers thrive.What's the role all about?This is a bit of a hybrid role. You'll have your own client base and drive sales, but you'll also support senior reps with admin and technical tasks. That means we're after someone who's not only confident in sales and business development, but also detail-oriented and tech-savvy.Day-to-day, you'll be:
On the road, visiting growers big and small, identifying crop issues and offering expert advice
Back at base, processing orders, liaising with the store team, and keeping on top of emails
Supporting senior reps with admin and technical tasks
Building strong relationships and helping growers get the best out of their crops
What we're looking for:
You might not tick every box, and that's okay-but here's what would make you a great fit:
Solid knowledge of NZ horticulture, especially kiwifruit, Avo's and Sub Tropical
Proven experience in sales and business development
A strong customer focus and great communication skills
Reasonable fitness (some physical work involved)
A full, clean NZ driver's licence (essential)
