- Processing weekly, monthly and ad hoc pay runs for both salaried and hourly rate paid staff
- Ensure timesheets for hourly staff have been confirmed in the systems
- Prepare relevant tax filing papers and payments thereon
- Ensure employee records are correct & up to date, updating for new starters and leaver as required
- Interpret and apply any Holidays Act requirements
- Complete year end payroll system reconciliations and any software updates
- Prepare bonus and profit share payments
- Arrange disbursements of deductions
- Provide ad hoc information to third parties as required
- Work with the finance team, HR team and any other internal team members on process improvement as required
- Payglobal experience
- Have experience working with collective agreements
- Have worked with timesheet payrolls previously
- Proactive and willing to learn
- An ability to take ownership and work relatively unsupervised so the manager can drive value add to the business.
- Experience working with a similar size payroll (circa 700)
- End to end payroll experience
- Working knowledge of Holidays Act NZ
