
Senior Civil Engineer - Water

- You will have the opportunity to get involved in coordinating, managing and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
- Deliver work packages at different stages (50%, 90%, and IFC), maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to project schedules.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, and engineers, to ensure integrated and effective project execution.
- Review and approve complex technical drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all designs comply with regulatory requirements and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.
- A relevant tertiary degree and CPEng (or working towards).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering detailed designs of potable water and wastewater networks, including adoption of Auckland Council and Watercare standards.
- Exposure to various aspects of the capital project lifecycle from planning, through design, construction and commissioning.
- Civil / Transportation or Rail - 5 years experience with involvement in stormwater for major / mid infrastructure projects
- Proficient in 12d (including drainage module) preferably, knowledge of Hec-Ras advantage
- Proficient in earthworks and drainage modelling (basins, ponds, channels, pipe network)
- Knowledge of local authority design criteria (Auckland, Wellington) for roading, stormwater desirable.
