Technical Engineer - Night Shift

- Be Responsible for Automation, Utilities & Spare parts during the night shift.
- Be responsible for daily maintenance, problem solving and on-the-line trouble shooting.
- Implement effective fault-finding and resolutions to unplanned downtimes, as well as improvements to machine/equipment functionality or processes.
- Support the reliability programme to ensure the effective close out of RCA action.
- Communicating effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure collaboration, coordination and effective maintenance support across the shift.
- Support and cover Shift Engineers as and when required.
- Supporting for manufacturing systems maintenance, enhancements, repairs, and upgrades (both software and hardware).
- Ensure faults affecting the plant processes, or other systems conflicts, are timely reported and highlighted to management.
- Investigate and help root cause analysis and troubleshooting for systems faults.
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification Level 4 (or equivalent) and current NZ Electrical Practising license or Limited Electrical (EST A and B)
- Proven track record of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Pneumatics, TIG welding, PLC and Computer literacy
- Excellent fault-finding and communication skills
- Ability to work and make decisions without close supervision
