This varied and rewarding role involves assessing misconduct reports, responding to enquiries, supporting licensing processes, and contributing to cross-agency cooperation and internal projects.You'll gain broad exposure across the FMA and help shape positive outcomes for financial markets and consumers across Aotearoa.Key responsibilities include:
  • Responding to misconduct reports and enquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Supporting the licensing process and assisting market participants with regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinating information requests from local and international partners.
  • Maintaining quality records and supporting intelligence gathering.
  • Contributing to internal reporting, cross-team projects, and process improvements.
  • Supporting training initiatives and public communications (e.g. bulk mailouts).

  • Clear written and verbal communication, tailored to different audiences.
  • A willingness and aptitude for continuous learning - exposure to legislation is a bonus but not essential.
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • A team-first attitude, with a good sense of humour and initiative to spot and act on opportunities to make an even bigger impact.
