- Permanent part-time role working Saturday to Sunday, 11am-7:30pm in Hamilton
- Earn up to $29.10 per hour + ongoing training + a great work environment

- Providing support to taiohi (young people) and their whānau (family) and peers, addressing mental health and addiction concerns, social stressors, and promoting resilience and overall wellbeing
- Collaborating with schools and community organisations to raise awareness about mental health issues, contributions, and early signs of illness
- Implementing a positive youth development model of care, utilising brief interventions such as talking therapies (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
- Demonstrating reliability, honesty, and a willingness to learn
- Offering youth coaching and mentoring services
- Incorporating Kaupapa Māori cultural interventions, emphasizing a positive cultural identity through activities such as kapa haka (traditional Māori performance art), waiata (songs), whakapapa (genealogy), and Whānau Ora (family wellness)
- Fifth week of annual leave after 12 months of employment

- Possession of the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or an equivalent recognized qualification, or actively pursuing such a qualification.
- Previous experience working with young people and a solid understanding of trauma-informed care.
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and adeptness in building relationships.
- Holding a valid full New Zealand driver's license.
- Possession of a current New Zealand first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with and a demonstrated commitment to the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
