You will be a part of Downer Transport & Infrastructure - A team that designs, builds, and maintains 25,000kms worth of roads in Aotearoa. We are building sustainable communities that you can be proud to say that you have been a part of producing.This is a permanent, Full Time Traffic Management Operative position, based from our Taumarunui depot. We offer a minimum of 40 work hours per week with overtime and penal rates available.Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
As a TMO, you will work supporting your STMS, to ensure the safety of public road users and your crew as they undertake civil construction and road maintenance works. You will be provide clear and accurate direction for traffic. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
- Committed to learning new skills & gain new qualifications
- Show commitment to our safety culture & safe work practises
- Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Flexibility is desirable given you will be required to work weekends
- Full car licence essential
- Class 1 drivers licence, Class 2 preferred
- TTM worker or TMO warrant
- Minimum 6 months experience preferred
