Customer Service Representative - Cook Street

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this position offers variety and involvement across all areas of the branch. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners.
  • Assist and serve at the Trade Counter, and recommend suitable products tailored to our customers preferences.
  • Manage Inwards Goods, including accurate receipting and system entry.
  • Ensure products are well-organised and ready for dispatch.
  • Monitor inventory levels, regular cycle counts and stock replenishment, rotating products to ensure optimal presentation.
  • Support with delivery driving when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general housekeeping.
This is a permanent full-time role at our Cook St (Auckland CBD) branch, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.About You:To succeed in this role, you'll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who puts customers at the heart of everything you do. Friendly, reliable, and ready to jump in, you'll thrive in a team environment and bring a strong work ethic to the role.
  • You will be upbeat, approachable, and deliver great service to everyone you meet.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (ideal but not essential).
  • Work well in a team and enjoy collaborating with others.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Confident using technology and navigating multiple systems.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
  • Hold a Full NZ Class 1 drivers' licence.
