Then read on.The opportunity:Join AIA New Zealand as an Infrastructure Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of Infrastructure and Information Security.Reporting to the Head of Information Security & Infrastructure Modernization, you will lead strategic direction, design solutions, and ensure technology alignment with business objectives within the Infrastructure and Information Security domain.Key responsibilities include:Demonstrating expertise in networking, operating systems, cloud computing, storage, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity to design and implement secure IT infrastructure solutionsCollaborating with stakeholders to translate business objectives into roadmaps ensuring scalability and security of technology solutionsOwning the design and implementation of technology solutions, including network architecture, server configurations, storage solutions, and security measuresWorking with Business Analysts to capture and analysing requirements, ensuring technology solutions meet business needsEstablishing architectural principles, policies, standards, and best practices for consistency and complianceFostering relationships with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of technology solutionsStaying informed of new technologies, providing recommendations for adoption and improvementIdentifying and addressing potential risks associated with technology solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Ideally, you’ll bring:Expertise in networking, operating systems (Windows and Linux), cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), storage, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity to design and implement secure IT infrastructure solutionsBachelor's or Technical Degree in relevant field10+ years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, and ArchitectureSuperior relationship management experienceProven leadership skills and project delivery track recordStrong senior leader/stakeholder management & engagement skills.Why choose AIA?At AIA, we believe in empowering every one of our people to find their 'better'.
