Reporting to: Divisional Manager - Security
Type: Full-time, with on-call rosterKey Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and commission security equipment to NZSA standards and industry best practices.
- Provide rapid responses to service calls, troubleshoot onsite issues, and deliver efficient solutions as a problem-solver.
- Coach apprentices on-the-job, foster positive teamwork, and offer feedback for their development.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, handle communications professionally, and keep service information confidential.
- Champion health and safety: Lead by example, report incidents promptly, and ensure compliance with HSWA and company policies.
- Support administration tasks like updating as-builts, accurate timekeeping, and maintaining job documentation.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster and undertake other duties as needed to support team success.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Security industry with a proven track record.
- Level 3 NZ Certificate in Security (Foundation) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of business management systems (e.g., Simpro, Uptick) and security technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor apprentices and work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
- Valid New Zealand driver's licence.
