About the roleWe are searching for a Contracts Supervisor to join our Kawerau Projects Team, based in the beautiful region of the Bay of Plenty.This is a permanent full-time (40 hours per week) position managing the Projects Delivery Team. Whilst the days of work will predominantly be Monday to Friday, weekend work may be called for on an as and when required basis.Our Kawerau Projects Team is just 20 minutes outside of Whakatane and 45 minutes from Tauranga and Rotorua. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking for a new challenge and to get out of the big city rat race.The position requires the incumbent to be a registered Electrician with a current practicing license. In addition, we are looking for the following experience:

5+ years of experience in electrical construction
Experience as a leading hand
Experience in quoting/tendering systems
Experience in commercial contracting
Experience in power distribution and street lighting maintenance

The following skills and attributes will allow the candidate to be successful in this role:

Proven and effective people management skills
The ability and/or experience in using contract management tools such as NIMBUS
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent time management skills
Strong computer skills and competency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective and positive leadership skills
The ability to develop QA/ HSE plans
A problem solver with a solution-focused attitude
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
Keen to develop own knowledge and that of others
