We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team based in Oxford.This is a part time role with 11 hours per week. The hours are Friday and Sunday 11:30am -5:00pm.In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for operating company vehicles and earthmoving equipment, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring our Transfer Station is maintained to the highest standard.Key responsibilities include:
- Safely controlling the placement of waste and/or product.
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times.
- Assisting drivers and members of the public with correct placement of loads to ensure efficient spreading or compacting of waste and materials.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the site.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A current Class 1 or Class 2 NZ driver licence.
- WTR endorsements (wheels, tracks, rollers).
- Proven experience operating earthmoving equipment (e.g. excavators, forklifts, loaders, ride-on mowers).
- A strong understanding of workplace Health and Safety.
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management.
