Bakery Assistant Wanted!We're on the lookout for a motivated Bakery Assistant to join our team at New World Elles Road. If you're passionate about baking and thrive in a team environment, this role could be the perfect fit. For the right candidate, we can provide a Bakery Apprenticeship with a pathway into leadership.This is a full-time position of around 32-40 hours per week, working 5am-1:30pm. You'll be covering one weekend day. Hours and days will be discussed at interview stage.About the Role:This position is fast-paced and hands-on, with responsibilities such as:

Finishing and decorating a variety of bakery products
Packing and presenting products to a high standard
Carrying out daily production of baked goods such as muffins and scones and assisting with other instore-made products
Maintaining a clean, safe department while meeting all food safety and workplace health & safety standards

What you'll bring to the team:

Previous bakery experience (advantageous)
Physical fitness - you'll be on your feet all day and will need to be able to lift the boxes of stock.
A passion for quality and consistency
Strong attention to detail
Reliability and a positive team attitude
