You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers through timely, accurate and efficient processing and delivery of all tasks within the Policy Operations team.Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support and training to meet development needs of the wider Operations team, creating a high performing environment.
  • Assist team manager with operational related tasks reporting on productivity and results, complete these tasks in their absence.
  • Provide an escalation point for consultants to support with the resolution of complex tasks/queries providing a solution for our customers, both internal and external.
  • Actively identify opportunities for business enhancements within operations, deliver & promote solution orientated responses
  • Support and implement SOP's where required, review and update at 6 month interval or
  • Support the completion of allocated tasks and activities within agreed service guarantee time frames meeting targeted efficiency & productivity measures.
  • Respond to written emails and telephone communications from internal & external customers, intermediaries & other service providers, if required.
  • Processing of Bulk scheme facility claims as required.
  • Policy & client changes/maintenance, performing all allocated tasks and activities within agreed service guarantee time frames and whilst meeting targeted efficiency & productivity
Skills and Experience
  • Product knowledge of SuncorpNZ Insurance, specifically Commercial Insurance (including Business Property, Contract Works and CMV)
  • Superior data input capability in both volume and accuracy
  • Organisation and time management skills to provide accurate high-volume work output
  • Sound database knowledge
  • Technical proficiency - proven ability to grasp new system and process requirements.
  • Understanding of relevant industry legislation
  • General insurance market understanding
  • Proven ability to work as an effective team member within a service centre environment
  • Previous experience with Suncorp NZ systems and processes e.g. Solvit, CommIT, etc
  • Customer service skills
  • Computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Administration skills to a competent level
  • Written and verbal communication skills together with numerical skills
