PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING!!Please only apply if you are actually interested in farming as we don't have time for time wasters.We are currently seeking a passionate 2IC to join our team for the upcoming 24/25 season.We require a 2ic/assistant manager for 500 cow high input farm located on the haruraki plains (Ngatea) nice 40 aside herringbone cowshed with feed pad running parrel with shed.
Twice day feeding out on pad means you must be skilled in tractor work but also willing to learn how we operate.The successful applicant will be required to milk cows shift effluent set up break fences and load up and feed out on pad so tractor skills is a must.
You must have 3 years of consistent dairy farming in New Zealand and hold a currant drivers license.
Be a responsible hard worker with a can do attitude
Have good time management
Be able to think for yourself
Be punctual and good with communicating
And willing to take charge when required.Time off is 5 days per month with one weekend - pick your own time of to suit you and your family.Salary includes house and wet weather -
