The Opportunity | Te KōwhiringaBe responsible for completing roadmarking works in line with client and contract expectations. This is a full-time (guaranteed 40 hours per week), permanent opportunity, delivering to clients in various locations throughout the region (and sometimes throughout the country!). Your daily activities will include:

Planning, organising, directing and controlling the activities of the day to day roadmarking operation
Installing or remarking of Type A and/or B markings
Organising your crew and ensuring that equipment and materials are in order.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, crews and the general public
The role requires both night and day shift work, so the ability and willingness to work to a roster is essential.

Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga MatuaYou will a self-motivated, energetic, and results-orientated individual. You will be the type of person who remains calm under pressure, and someone who can recognise and prioritise the allocation of resources as required. This will require being available or working extended hours.You will also have:

At least 1 year of Roadmarking experience as A/B Type operator.
Essential to have a Class 1 Drivers License or be able to obtain one.
Have strong attention to detail with the ability to plan, listen and problem solve
Hold a formal NZQA Roadmarking Operational Certificate (desirable)
Hold your Level 1 STMS certificate (desirable)
It is desirable to have knowledge of MOTSAM and be able to mark out new works to the code.
