- Be responsible for achieving projects within a team of Industrial Designers, a key part of this achievement will involve collaborating and influencing our team of product development engineers and being the voice of design and brand for our product design decisions.
- You’ll naturally influence, with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships, and able to communicate both visually and verbally
- You’ll come with experience managing the responsibility for leading delivery of projects, or other activities within larger projects.
- Experience working collaboratively with other specialists to develop new designs, working with both new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Be able to demonstrate aesthetic maturity, are self-driven and able to work to tight schedules.
- Have sound understanding of mechanics, kinematics, manufacturing processes and materials.
- You may have some experience in model-making and prototyping, creating quick prototypes to prove concepts, as well as more refined visual models is highly desirable.
- Proficiency using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, parametric CAD modelling such as PTC Creo and rendering packages such as Key-shot (or similar) is required.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Design or Product Design is essential.
