He angitūtanga: The opportunity
In the capacity of a System Architect, active and meaningful participation in continuous improvement initiatives is paramount, reflecting a steadfast commitment to cultivating a culture of ongoing enhancement. This role extends to the precise definition and effective communication of the technical vision for the Agile Release Train (ART), including the intricate development and maintenance of the architectural runway. Within this context, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing indispensable technical guidance and support to Agile teams, actively engaging in key ART events such as PI Planning and System Demos. Your commitment to ensuring solutions align seamlessly with the overarching architectural strategy is central to your responsibilities, wherein you actively encourage and facilitate innovation within Agile teams.Furthermore, it encompasses the strategic management and prioritization of technical debt, emphasizing transparent communication of technical challenges and progress to relevant stakeholders. Collaboration with Principal Architects is integral for maintaining consistency across initiatives. The System Architect role demands a diverse skill set including technical expertise, proficiency in agile methodologies, effective communication, adept problem-solving, innovation, risk management, collaboration, adaptability, and strategic thinking. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field serves as the educational foundation for this position. Candidates are required to bring over 7 years of experience in system architecture, preferably within a SAFe or Agile environment.This unique combination of skills and qualifications positions the System Architect as a key contributor with the requisite knowledge and experience to navigate complex technological landscapes and thrive in dynamic, collaborative, and agile work environments.Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer
