  • As Philanthropy Advisor, your core responsibility will be securing vital funding through grant applications, building relationships with funders, and supporting our mid-level donor programme. You'll:
  • Lead Grant Applications: Research and develop compelling applications to secure funds for critical projects from trusts, foundations, and corporate donors.
  • Drive Donor Engagement: Support our mid-value donor programme, ensuring donors feel appreciated and are engaged with tailored, inspiring content.
  • Manage Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting on funds, grant outcomes, and impact to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure fundraising initiatives are on schedule, meet donor expectations, and align with organisational goals.
What you bring:
  • You're a natural at building relationships, a strong communicator, and an advocate for children. To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
  • Fundraising Expertise: Experience in trust and grants fundraising, with the ability to craft compelling applications and reports.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with donors, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Mindset: An intuitive understanding of donor motivations, with the ability to communicate this effectively.
  • Organisational Excellence: Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

  • Familiarity with donor privacy and confidentiality practices.
  • Background in donor database management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of donor privacy and confidentiality best practices.
