He angitūtanga / The opportunity:We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave. This role leads the Learning & Development and Organisational Development functions, driving national initiatives across recognition & reward, talent development, training, engagement, diversity & inclusion, and compliance. A key focus during this period will be on learning & development and reward & recognition.Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
  • Lead the Learning & Development function and embed the Compass global Competency Framework.
  • Manage national remuneration processes and maintain the incentive framework.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives including surveys, recognition programmes, and awards.
  • Support diversity & inclusion strategy development and implementation.
  • Provide HR generalist support including organisational change, policy guidance, and reporting.
He kōrero mōu / About you:
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in remuneration and reward practices.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across all levels.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or similar, with high computer literacy.
  • Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
