- Represent the company in selling equipment within a designated geographic area.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits across all saleable equipment.
- Implement and maintain regular call cycles within your territory.
- Monitor competitor activity and promptly communicate findings to management.
- Maintain comprehensive customer information for your territory to support effective sales management.
- Follow a defined sales process.
- Achieve sales objectives, including market share targets, as set by Brandt.
- Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
- Conduct field demonstrations of new equipment.
- Monitor trends in customer business activity.
- Stay informed about available financing options to assist customers with their purchases.
- Attend relevant training events and seminars.
- Provide required sales reports to management.
- Accurately assess used equipment values for trade-in purposes.
- Sales industry experience, with a knowledge of heavy equipment, is an advantage.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and develop new accounts.
- Ability to travel internationally; a valid passport is required (or must be able to obtain one).
