- As Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of a variety of civil construction projects, primarily in bulk divisions such as:
- Bulk earthworks and land development
- Stormwater and wastewater drainage systems
- Roadworks and infrastructure construction
- Site preparation and subdivision works
- Manage civil construction projects across bulk earthworks, drainage, land development, and related infrastructure
- Lead, supervise, and motivate onsite teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project budgets and resources
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Operate machinery when necessary, leveraging preferred machine operator experience and WTR licence
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and site records
- Proven civil construction project management experience with bulk divisions such as drainage, land development, and earthworks
- Preferred machine operator experience with a current WTR licence to support operational leadership
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, standards, health and safety legislation, and quality assurance
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Full New Zealand driver's licence and ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or related fields preferred but not essential
