The Mental Health and Addiction Services in Northland are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Inpatient Unit team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at Whangārei Hospital.This position provides clinical care in the inpatient setting in the Tumanako Inpatient Unit and He Manu Pae Sub-acute Unit at Whangarei Hospital. We encourage applications from Consultant Psychiatrists with a strong interest in acute care, registrar teaching and supervision and leadership of clinical teams.(formerly Northland District Health Board) provides public health services across the Northland region, from north of Wellsford to Cape Reinga serving a growing population of 190,000.
