Head Medical currently have exciting Emergency Medicine opportunities in New Zealand for post-foundation doctors (RMO/SHO/CT level) looking to broaden their clinical skills and experience a new healthcare system. The RoleBased in a modern, 400-bed public hospital providing both acute and elective services, you will gain hands-on experience in a diverse and dynamic environment. The Emergency Department sees 46,000 attendances annually with a 30% admission rate and a high proportion of major trauma cases, making this an excellent training ground.The department runs a 5-bed observation unit and you will work alongside:
  • 10 Emergency Physicians
  • 1 Medical Officer
  • 15 Registrars
  • 8 House Officers
  • 3 Nurse Practitioners
