Te Whiwhinga Mahi | Our opportunityAs our newest Advisor - Knowledge, you will help drive excellence in information and records management across our organisation.The Advisor - Knowledge role is to support and uplift information and records management practices across the organisation. This is a hands-on advisory role that blends technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, training, and outreach.You'll work closely with teams across Kāinga Ora to provide support for both digital and physical records, ensuring compliance with best practice and legislative requirements. As part of the wider Knowledge Team, you'll also contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance our organisational maturity in information management.You'll be instrumental in strengthening the organisation's Information Management maturity, leading outreach and advisory initiatives, uplifting practices, and embedding good records management into everyday systems and processes.This role will be based in Newmarket office, Auckland.Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Management, Knowledge or Records Management, or equivalent experience (2+ years)
  • Strong understanding of records management principles, legislation, and best practice (Public Records Act, OIA, Privacy Act)
  • Interest in information architecture and user experience
  • Excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident training and presentation abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
