
Senior Associate Civil Engineer (Stormwater)

- Lead and be involved in client relationship management, job delivery, proposal preparation, project planning and financial management
- Work directly with clients and project partners, providing specialist technical stormwater design advice and input across various civil and multi-disciplinary projects
- Providing technical leadership, oversight, training, mentoring and guidance to junior staff

Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects in a multidisciplinary business. As a Senior professional knocking on the door of Principal level, you will also:
- Be a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng or equivalent) in Civil Engineering with a strong track record of delivering stormwater design and planning inputs within a multi-disciplinary infrastructure project context
- Have experience acting in Stormwater discipline leadership roles on projects, with associated client and regulatory authority relationship responsibilities
- Have a broad civil engineering background (10 + years' industry experience) with specialist skills and knowledge in the field of stormwater engineering design and analysis. You will be familiar with relevant local standards and regulatory frameworks in which we operate under in NZ in the field of stormwater engineering.
- Have experience in works associated with catchment planning and conducting specialist assessment work to feed into Assessments of Environmental Effects.
- Have experience using civil design and modelling packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer, or 12D. Previous knowledge and experience of working with hydrological, water quality and flood modelling packages (e.g. HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ICM, TuFlow, MUSIC) will also be advantageous.
