Lead our dedicated team of Buddy Programme Coordinators, Parent Education Programme Coordinator and Programme Facilitators. You will provide professional leadership, support and supervision to the team and may assist with assessing families for the various programmes.You will work alongside our supportive management team assisting with management activities such as strategic planning and service development.This role is permanent part time, 32 hours per week.Ngā kawenga | Key responsibilities:
- providing professional leadership
- supervision of staff
- assisting with assessments for families as required
- monitoring practice and service delivery outcomes
- reporting to the manager on service delivery and staff wellbeing
- being involved in strategic planning and service development
- operating within budget
- previous experience in a similar role or working with children, young people and their families
- a tertiary qualification in social services, health, education or a related field.
- a recognised supervision qualification or be willing to work towards this with the support of Family Works
- to be a member of a professional association or be willing to work towards joining, if available to you
- well developed leadership skills and ability to communicate, negotiate and resolve conflict and instill enthusiasm for strategic vision and service delivery
- a working knowledge of Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and other relevant NZ legislation
- the commitment to providing services in the spirit of the Treaty of Waitangi
- a current full clean New Zealand driver's licence
