We are flexible where this role is located in New Zealand - ideally one of our main office locations of Auckland, Hamilton or Christchurch.About the Role:As a Senior Modeller in Stantec’s Network Planning team, you’ll lead stormwater hydraulic modelling projects, delivering high-quality solutions to improve urban infrastructure. You’ll work on both local and international projects, applying global best practices and local expertise. Your role will include managing technical modelling activities, ensuring projects meet client expectations and are completed efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Client Interaction & Project Delivery : Liaise with clients, both internal and external to understand their needs, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.Collaboration : Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for stormwater management.Mentorship : Guide junior staff, fostering skills development and maintaining project standards.Quality Assurance : Ensure rigorous QA/QC processes throughout the project lifecycle.What We’re Looking For:Experience : Proven experience in stormwater hydraulic modelling, especially using InfoWorks ICM (other software such as DHI Mike or Tuflow, is a plus. HEC-HMS/RAS desirable.
