Job Posting End Date May 3, 2024Job Location WhangareiJob DescriptionThe OpportunityAt Fulton Hogan we are always looking for ways to optimise efficiency and productivity in a safe and effective manner. To support this goal, we are seeking a Contracting Resources Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of field staff, plant, equipment, and other resources. You will work closely with the contract and project managers and employees to ensure that all resources are being used effectively and efficiently.The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Primary areas of responsibility will include the allocation of employee and plant resources, resolving booking conflicts, and monitoring the availability, staffing and plant requirements. Ensuring all the necessary people and plant resources are available to the various project managers and project engineers within the contracting division will be the key components of the role. This will mean sourcing and coordinating external resources if the internal resources are not available.Due to the role requirements, the hours of work per week are 50 hours including weekends as needed. Class 2 license would be advantageous.What you’ll bring to the tableWe are looking for a professional who is a people person first and foremost, but also has great organisational and coordination skills.
