You will ensure the success of regional delivery in achieving health targets and improved patient access by ensuring the delivery of multiple streams of work focused on enhancing service delivery and improving outcomes in planned care to 300,000 New Zealanders, worth $2.2 billion annually. To be successful in the role, you will need to form strong relationships with executive leads, senior clinicians and managers, and work collaboratively with regional and district delivery teams to embed ownership of change, ensuring timely access, improved outputs, and high-quality processes.You will design, implement and manage programme deliverables, and deliver meaningful, sustainable improvements across the delivery of hospital and specialist services and performance.About the TeamThe HSS Programme Implementation team sits within the Planning, Funding and Outcomes (PFO) group and plays a pivotal role in driving improvements to service delivery across Health NZ. Working closely with national and regional stakeholders, the team collaborates with Directors, General Managers, Programme SROs, subject matter experts, and the Communications team to ensure successful implementation and alignment with strategic priorities.About youYou will bring substantial experience in programme management, a relevant graduate and postgraduate qualification, along with at least five years of experience in programme delivery. Your collaborative approach and ability to support and embed change will be key to your success. You'll have a strong track record in implementing programmes with partners and delivering sustainable change, including experience with benefits realisation.
