We live by our REAL values – Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, Leadership – and we demonstrate these through the good work we do, every day, as one team.Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan FamilyWe’re seeking Foremen and Supervisors to join our Major Projects Civil Structures teams across Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and Christchurch. We are currently delivering work ranging from motorway extensions, bridges and wharves to water treatment plants, storage tanks and pipelines.You will be busy managing the day-to-day activities of your crew on civil projects; developing the staff within the crew; engaging with staff and clients on a daily basis and complying with FH H&S policies on all aspects of work.Foremen need to have experience running a team effectively in day-to-day activities, with solid construction knowledge, EW, roading and drainage. As a Supervisor you will plan and organise work safely, while making sure that all resources are available to execute the job, this includes people, plant and materials in your area of control. You may lead multiple operational crews and perform some hands on work.We’re looking for someone with:
  • Min 5 years’ experience in foreman/supervisory role
  • BCITO or equivalent Trade qualified
  • WTR endorsement and full class 2 license
  • 5 years' plus experience in Earthworks, drainage, utilities, roading and general civil
  • The ability to interpret designs and plans
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
  • A positive contribution to the team culture will a focus on continual improvement
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Solid leadership and time management abilities
