- Acting as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care
- Managing complex and sometimes challenging customer expectations while maintaining positive relationships
- Proactively growing sales, margin, and profitability across your accounts
- Providing expert product knowledge across dry, chilled, frozen, and fresh categories
- Preparing and presenting professional quotations, pricing, and reports to a high standard
- Coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to deliver seamless service (and stepping in yourself when needed)
- Maintaining meticulous records and reporting through company systems
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company policies at all times
- Proven experience in key account management, sales, or hospitality/foodservice operations
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to handle demanding customers calmly and professionally
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - accuracy matters here
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach - you don't wait for problems, you anticipate and solve them
- Resilience, patience, and the ability to work under pressure without losing your cool
- A current Class 4 licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Team player mentality, with the independence to own your accounts end-to-end
