We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Key Account Manager to oversee and grow some of our most valued customers.This isn't your average account management role. Our key accounts expect nothing short of exceptional service, absolute accuracy, and proactive communication. They'll challenge you, test your patience, and keep you on your toes - but if you thrive on building strong professional relationships, finding solutions under pressure, and turning challenges into wins, then this role is for you.What you'll be doing:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care
  • Managing complex and sometimes challenging customer expectations while maintaining positive relationships
  • Proactively growing sales, margin, and profitability across your accounts
  • Providing expert product knowledge across dry, chilled, frozen, and fresh categories
  • Preparing and presenting professional quotations, pricing, and reports to a high standard
  • Coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to deliver seamless service (and stepping in yourself when needed)
  • Maintaining meticulous records and reporting through company systems
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company policies at all times
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience in key account management, sales, or hospitality/foodservice operations
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to handle demanding customers calmly and professionally
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - accuracy matters here
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach - you don't wait for problems, you anticipate and solve them
  • Resilience, patience, and the ability to work under pressure without losing your cool
  • A current Class 4 licence (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Team player mentality, with the independence to own your accounts end-to-end
