This is your opportunity to bring your clinical skills to a dynamic, people-focused environment that values whānau-centred care.In this rewarding and varied role, you'll provide wrap-around, person-led support to tangata whaiora, working in a service where whānau and recovery are at the heart of everything we do.This full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week, on a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday) is based in beautiful Tauranga Moana.What You'll Be Doing:
- Building strong, respectful relationships with tangata whaiora and their whānau
- Offering clinical expertise that promotes safe, effective, and meaningful service delivery
- Supporting clients to set and achieve personal goals through strength-based planning and evidence-informed practice
- Managing client risk and documenting appropriately
- Leading and contributing to client documentation, assessments, and planning from entry to exit
- Ensuring tangata whaiora are well-informed and empowered to make choices about their own care
You're someone who brings compassion, confidence, and calm to your mahi-especially in times of crisis. You understand the importance of recovery-based care and have a strong clinical foundation to support tangata whaiora.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full registration with a relevant professional body (HPCA 2003, HPCAA 2003, Social Work Registration, or DAAPANZ)
- At least 2 years of experience working in mental health or addiction services
- Experience in developing individualised, recovery-focused care plans
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- A full NZ driver's licence and eligibility to work in Aotearoa
