- Ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions and managing risk protection
- Negotiating favourable outcomes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Managing risks and resolving problems as they arise
- Procuring subcontractors and compiling subcontract agreements
- Assessing payment claims and variations
- Measuring, estimating and valuing variation claims
- Establishing rates from first principles
- Preparing and submitting variation claims
- Providing monthly cost reports and accurate cost forecasts
- Managing relationships with clients and key project stakeholders
- Overseeing the project team to achieve all financial deliverables and outcomes
- Commercial experience necessary
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- 3+ years experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor position
- CostX (training provided)
