They have offices in South and West Auckland so this role could suit someone in either area.The RoleThe role of Financial Accountant will be a varied one comprising of conventional financial accounting duties as well as partnering with business managers across the specific business unit which this role will take ownership of. The group is also making a move to SAP S4 HANA later this year which the Financial Accountant will be involved in.Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:· Full Month end processing· Loading financial statements into Cognos for FC to report to business· Attending business management meetings· Work with respective business leads to develop business and financial plans· Balance sheet reconciliations· Basic labour analysis/reporting· Assist with fixed assets forecasting· Fixed assets registry· Reviewing FBT and GST· Capex management and monitoring· Ad hoc system projectsYour ProfileThe ideal candidate will be someone with an enquiring mind who can not only get a set of accounts out confidently but also build effective relationships across the business, and actively partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders.The wider finance and commercial team is circa 15 staff so there are great opportunities to learn and grow within this structure, for the right person.Culture & BenefitsThis company has a great culture.
