About the roleWe have an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to manage our solid waste contracts, encompassing Council's kerbside services, transfer stations and disposal.You will assist the Solid Waste Manager with effective management of Council's solid waste infrastructure in a small, dedicated team.About youWe are seeking someone with:
  • Experience in contract management
  • An understanding of NZS3917/3910 or similar contracts
  • A pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Experience in building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including local communities.
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a range of audiences.
Ideally the candidate will also have one of the following:
  • Industry experience in waste,
  • Local government experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
