Āu Mahi | What You Will DoIn this pivotal role, you will deliver outstanding customer service while effectively being the guardian of software compliance. Tasks include:
  • Coordinating software requests and renewals across academic and non-academic areas.
  • Ensuring license compliance and managing risks related to software usage.
  • Maintaining accurate records and optimising license allocation.
  • Collaborating with vendors, Digital Services teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across UC.
Mōu | Who You AreYou will have 4-5 years' experience in Customer Service or Service Desk roles, have an in-depth knowledge and practical application of software licensing within a large and complex Tertiary Education Institution, as well as have:
  • Proficient knowledge of IT governance frameworks, cloud services offerings, and software asset management.
  • Excellent understanding of various software licensing models, managing software inventories and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and contracts.
  • Experience in applying best-practice IT frameworks and continuous service improvement ethos
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous with work instructions, tasks, and documentation of business records (e.g. data entry and record keeping within UC's corporate tools and platforms)
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a passion for exceptional service excellence.
  • New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) or equivalent industry experience
  • ITIL-certified desirable
  • Comfortable operating a business workflow management tool such as ServiceNow
  • CMBD or Software Asset Management training an advantage
