We delight them by doing the hard work using the latest cloud technologies and the best tools for the job.As an engineer on a cross-functional team, you'll help build meaningful, high-impact Financial Planning and Analysis applications used every day by people making tough, important decisions. Our applications are simple yet powerful: just ask our CFO, who can't stop raving about them!What will you work on?
You’ll join a team solving complex problems for enterprise customers, including:
- Inter-company Eliminations: Creating UI and data capabilities that allow customers to manually or automatically reconcile data between internal business entities when rolling up to Head Office level.
- Multi-currency: Enabling customers to manage budgets and forecasts across regions with flexible exchange rates and interfaces that support consolidated views in a single currency.
- Headcount Planning: Designing and delivering a new standalone repository for staff data to support better budgeting, forecasting, and workforce management.
We’re after a full stack engineer with strong front-end skills backed by solid back-end experience, including:
- React, TypeScript
- Data modelling
- Java
- SQL and database querying
- Performance optimisation
- A strong history of developing advanced web applications
- Experience delivering software products on cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- A creative approach to solving real-world business problems
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a growth mindset
- A genuine desire to work with kind, capable people
- Experience with financial or accounting products
- Working with large-scale datasets
- Effective use of test automation
