With a range of unique villages nationwide (and more in development), we are a well-known and trusted operator, and we take our role seriously.About the RoleMetlifecare is seeking a proactive Operations Performance Manager to drive revenue growth, cost control, and operational excellence across our village and care home network.Reporting to the Executive Operations Manager, this is a pivotal role in the Operations Team, designed to enhance and lead roster optimisation, cost control and champion our Meteor (UKG WMS) rostering application. The role will deliver actionable insights to support continuous performance improvement and surface up information around areas of concern and hands on proactive support to our village leaders. You'll work closely with village teams to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and support strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Champion roster management with priority focus on care home roster standardisation and implementation.
  • Design and implementation of process and controls to reduce the deviation from agreed rosters
  • Analyse occupancy, revenue, and cost metrics (third party spend etc) to achieve informed decision-making
  • Hands on support to village teams with performance reporting and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual budget and forecasting process
  • Coordinate the review of various village and care home revenue, rates and fees
  • Track and report on Full Potential Plan (Strategy) initiatives project work
About YouWith a relevant tertiary business qualification, you will have 5+ years' experience in a financial, commercial, or an operational management position within a people-focused business. Your background will have been in managing complex rosters, analysing datasets and for this reason you will be highly analytical, curious, commercially savvy, with inherent influencing and mature communication skills.Ideally you will have experience in aged care or retirement living with essential advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
